摘要： The invention is directed to use of polythiophenes in a method to determine the genuineness of an article which method comprises providing an article treated with a composition comprised of a polythiophene, the polythiphene having a low temperature color and a weak fluorescence and the structure of the polythiophene being designed such that when the composition is placed in a heat-exchange relationship with the article, the low temperature color will change to a high temperature color and the weak fluorescence will change to a strong fluorescence when a pre-determined temperature is met or exceeded in the article, heating the article to a temperature that meets or exceeds the pre-determined temperature and detecting the color and the fluorescence change.

摘要： A thermal indicator material and method of producing a material capable of a thermochromic transition upon undergoing a temperature change. The thermochromic transition of the material is reversible. The thermochromic transition is a two step transition, such that when the samples are heated above the thermochromic transition temperature followed by a rapid cooling to a temperature below the thermochromic transition temperature in a time of less than about 5 seconds, a new low temperature color is generated which then has an irreversible thermochromic transition.

摘要： Methods of delaminating a graphene film (60) from a metal substrate (50) are disclosed that substantially preserve the metal substrate. The methods include forming a support layer (80) on the graphene film and then performing an electrochemical process in an electrochemical apparatus (10). The electrochemical process creates gas bubbles (36) at the metal-film interface (64), thereby causing the delamination. The graphene film and support layer form a structure (86) that is collected by a take-up roller (120). The support layer and graphene structure are then separated to obtain the graphene film.

摘要： A steerable head 11 is described for guiding a pusher rod 10 through ducting. The pusher rod 10 is then used for drawing cables, wires, lines or pipes through the ducting. The steerable head 11 includes remotely operable mechanisms for steering the rod 10 through junctions or around obstacles in the ducting. In a further refinement, the steerable head 11 is provided with a coupling means 36 adapted to co-operate with a corresponding coupling means 26 mounted on a second rod, thereby allowing the pushing of rods through longer or more obstructed ducts.
