    • The invention relates to a method of activating a PDP context via a mobile terminal (MT), such as a mobile telephone, initiated by a terminal equipment (TE), e.g. a laptop, where the terminal equipment (TE) is arranged to be connected to the mobile terminal (MT). Hitherto, such an activation of a PDP context via a mobile terminal, required the user of a terminal equipment to have quite specialized knowledge, e.g. a special reserved number defined by GPRS, an additional digit (the connection ID) for specifying a special APN to connect to, etc. The invention provides a user-friendly method of performing such an activation, in that the mobile terminal (MT) is arranged to listen for an activation trigger from the terminal equipment (TE) and to perform said activation upon the reception of an activation trigger. The invention moreover relates to a mobile terminal.

    • An access node for an Ethernet network is connected between an access point of user devices and a broadband remote access server for access to a plurality of service providng networks. It includes a VLAN handling unit having a memory for storing identifications of Ethernet frames transmitted in a first VLAN including the access node and a local virtual router function unit of of the access server in a second VLANs. Each of the second VLANs including the access node, the local virtual router function unit and one of the virtual router function units of the access server for each of the virtual router function units. A control unit commands the handling unit to transmit frames from a new user device that has connected itself to the access point into the first virtrual local area network. The control unit also receives information from the access server in respect of routing frames and its commands to the handling unit to transmit frames from user device which is connected to the access point and the frames from which are transmitted into the first VLAN to be instead transmitted into one of th esecond VLAN as given by the information received from the broadband remote access server, the frames thereby being transmitted to the server of the respective service providing network.

    • The invention relates to a method for predicting an allocation of processing resources provided by a cloud computing module (230) to process a data set based on a predefined processing task. Input parameters are detected, the input parameters containing information about at least the data set to be processed by the cloud computing module and the processing task to be carried out on the data set. A model is selected from a plurality of different models provided in a model database (130), each model providing a relationship between the data set processing task and a predicted allocation of the processing resources.     • The present invention relates to methods and devices for pre-buffering one or more content data items to be rendered at a mobile terminal. In a first aspect of the present invention, a mobile terminal (11, 12, 13) comprises a processing unit (15) arranged to acquire a probability with which at least one selected content data item of the one or more content data items is to be rendered at the mobile terminal, and to acquire an estimated point in time when the at least one selected content data item is to be rendered at the mobile terminal. Further, the processing unit is arranged to pre-buffer a first selected part of the at least one selected content data item in the mobile terminal such that the first selected part of the at least one selected content data item is ready for rendering at the estimated point in time, the extent of the pre-buffered first selected part being related to the probability with which the at least one selected content data item is to be rendered at the mobile terminal.
