    • The present invention relates to a hydraulic jockey, and more particularly, to a hydraulic jockey capable of supporting two planes arranged orthogonally to one another. The jockey of the present invention comprises a housing, piston means, and shaft means. The piston means is capable of reciprocating along a straight line within the housing. The shaft means includes a first shaft unit and a second shaft unit which support two planes arranged orthogonally to one another. One end of the first shaft unit supports any one of the two planes arranged orthogonally to one another. One end of the second shaft supports any one of the two planes arranged orthogonally to one another. When the piston means reciprocates, one end of the first shaft unit and one end of the second shaft unit are spaced apart from each other and are brought closer to one another along another straight line arranged vertically to said straight line. The present invention provides a hydraulic jockey which supports planes of a member arranged orthogonally to one another, and moves the member, thereby eliminating the necessity of welding a separate fixing plate and grinding the resulting structure. Thus, unnecessary processes are eliminated to reduce manpower costs, material costs, etc.

    • The present invention relates to a palatal anchor for orthodontic treatment, and to a lingual traction device comprising the palatal anchor. The palatal anchor for orthodontic treatment according to the present invention comprises: an anchor body to be fixed in a palate during orthodontic treatment; and a hook portion formed at the anchor body to enable the connection of a traction member providing orthodontic force to teeth. Here, the anchor body includes: a base member fixable to the palate via an implantation nail during orthodontic treatment; at least one first coupling hole formed in the base member; and at least one second coupling hole formed in the base member such that the second coupling hole is located at the left or right side of a virtual line passing through the center of the first coupling hole in the forward and backward directions. According to the present invention, as implantation nails for fixing the palatal anchor at the surface of a palate are fastened onto the left and right sides of the line passing through the right center of the palate, initial anchoring force is ensured and the anchoring force of the implantation nails is maintained during the reformation of bones near the implantation nails after fastening the implantation nails, and thus lingual traction may be stably provided during orthodontic treatment.

Systems and methods described can provide advantage in the feedback path of adaptive equalizers in trellis decoders. The invention provides novel techniques for improving the performance of equalizers by reducing the effects of error propagation in equalizers that use a Viterbi Decoder (70).

    • The present invention relates to an anchorage for orthodontic treatment, which is configured to easily connect a traction member such as a wire or a spring, and prevent the traction member from escaping. The anchorage for orthodontic treatment according to the present invention comprises an anchorage body having a screw hole for insertion of a screw for fastening the anchorage into an oral cavity; and a spiral holding ring formed at the anchorage body to connect the traction member. The spiral holding ring is formed into a closed ring shape when viewed along the axial direction of the spiral holding ring. According to the present invention, the anchorage for orthodontic treatment, fastened into the oral cavity by a screw, has the spiral holding ring, and therefore the traction member can be connected through the space formed by an end (free end) of the spiral holding ring, thus effectively preventing the traction member from escaping and providing stable traction force.
