    • The present invention relates to a closure for a container. The closure according to the invention comprises no dead space, ensures favorable media flow, and comprises a high level of safety. The closure according to the invention comprises a top part (1) that can be connected to the container, having an opening (2) and comprising an outer hollow body (3) and an inner hollow body (4) disposed coaxially to the same and forming an intermediate space. The opening (2) of the closure according to the invention can be closed by a tang (5), wherein the tang (5) is coaxially received by retaining devices (6) in a base (7) shaped as a hollow body. The upper part of the base (7) can be longitudinally displaced in the intermediate space of the container for opening the opening (2). By limiting the longitudinal displacement of the base (7) by locking devices (8, 9), unintended opening of the closure by completely removing the base (7) is prevented. The closure according to the invention allows inlet and outlet of media into and out of a container, wherein the closure can receive further container devices.
