    • A compact air pressure gauge assembly mountable to the valve stem of a inflatable tire or mountable through the rim of a wheel for continuous monitoring of the tire inflation pressure. The air pressure gauge assembly has a compact design to extend the valve stem or wheel rim relatively little to avoid curb contact and interference with the wheel balance. By positioning the air intake in a right angle with the opening for receiving a standard valve stem or by positioning the air intake straight across the opening for receiving the valve stem while the dial face is positioned in an right angle, the air intake is separated from the airtight chamber housing the sensing element. A diaphragm having a simple mechanical design is provided as sensing element. The diaphragm includes a membrane being connected with a pressure indicator that moves up and down according to the tire pressure. The compact air pressure gauge assembly is designed to withstand substantial impact and to seal the tire in case the gauge body is accidentally broken off or fractured. Furthermore, the compact air pressure gauge assembly is relatively inexpensive, reliable, and of little or no maintenance.

The air pressure gauge assembly mountable through the wheel rim of an inflatable tire allows the continuous monitoring of the air pressure without interfering with the operation of a tire valve stem and replacement of a tire or a valve stem. Both types of air pressure gauge assemblies are designed to withstand substantial impact and to seal the tire in case the gauge body is accidentally broken off or fractured. Both types of air pressure gauge assemblies include several variations of easy to read dial faces. Furthermore, both types of air pressure gauge assemblies are of compact design and relatively inexpensive, reliable, and of little or no maintenance.

    • The invention concerns schedules of a broadcast management system. In particular but not limited to, the invention concerns the managing of electronic schedules by a TV broadcaster having one or more television channels. The invention also concerns methods for creating, managing and broadcasting schedules database by a broadcast management system. The invention further concerns a datastore, a software application program and a computer system for implementing these methods. The schedule is comprised of events (100) and sub-events (110) each having associated essences (102 106 112) and source, wherein inheritance is implemented in a top-down manner so that the sub-event (110) inherits from the parent (100) the essences (102 106) or stores that it does not already have. The inheritance is governed by the types essence of the essence type that the source supports. By representing the schedule in a way that captures both events and essences in a hierarchical structure, the schedule contains sufficient information suitable for use by multiple components of the broadcast management infrastructure. This helps to reduce the need for ad-hoc integration in broadcast components. The hierarchical structure also allows for the capture of schedule information in a natural, top-down fashion that also allows for inheritance.

    • The present invention provides a lath furring strip having improved water-resistant and insulation features. The lath furring strip has portions of the mounting leg height not exceeding 0.365 inches for proper plastering of a wall. The lath furring strip is integrated into other architectural structures such as reveals, expansion joints and window flange coverings. By integrating these structures with a lath furring strip having water proofing features, there is increased water proofing of the entire architectural structure. One or more moisture barriers can easily be applied to the wall or furring strips that prevents seepage of moisture from the stucco on the lath to a wall or framing. By using an improved lath furring strip, fewer penetrations are needed to secure the furring strip to a wall compared to securing a lath directly to a wall.
