    • There is proposed a method and corresponding apparatuses allowing a change from a packet switched communication domain to a circuit switched communication domain. When a user equipment as a connection terminating point receives a connection initialization message with a media flow, such as audio, which cannot be delivered by the packet switched access, it sends a specific response rejecting the connection via the packet switched access to an application server for service centralization and continuity. In the application server, it is checked whether several conditions are met in order to determine whether the communication connection comprising the media flow is allowed to be changed to the circuit switched domain. If yes, the communication connection is changed from the packet switched communication domain to the circuit switched communication domain.

    • The present invention relates to a method and network device for processing a routing information in a packet data network. The routing information is extracted from a received message at a border between a first network and a second network, and at least one invalid entry is added to first-network entries of the routing information. The first-network entries relate to a routing path of the message within the first network. The at least one invalid entry and the first-network entries are encrypted by using an own token at least for each of the first-network entries. As an alternative, a tokenized second-network entry extracted from said routing information and relating to the routing path of the message within the second network is decrypted, and its content is reversed. In both cases, the routing information is replaced by the processed routing information and the message is forwarded to the second network. This allows to preserve the order of routing entries and to hide the amount of switches that have been traversed in the home network.

    • A method (and corresponding equipment) by which a UE device (10) begins compressing messages it transmits to an SIP outbound proxy server (12) as SIP signals, including: a step (22a) in which the UE device sends a request message (22a 32a 42a) to the SIP outbound proxy server (12); and a step (23 33 43) in which the UE device analyzes a response message (22b 32b 42b) received from the SIP outbound proxy server (12) in response to the request message (22a 32a 42a) to determine a compression parameter. The request message (22a) may be an options request message and the response message (22b) would then be e.g. a 200 OK message. Alternatively, the request message (32a) may be a register message, and the response message (32b) would then be e.g. a 401 (unauthorized) message. In another embodiment, the response message (42b) is any compressed message.
