摘要： A method is provided that includes allocating a first subset of resource elements (REs) of a physical resource block (PRB) to a mobile terminal and associating one or more first demodulation reference symbols (DM-RS) ports therewith. The first subset of REs and the one or more first DM-RS ports have common interference characteristics, thereby providing for enhanced interference suppression. The method also includes causing transmission of the PRB for reception by the mobile terminal. Corresponding apparatus and computer program products are also provided.

摘要： Embodiments include a method for physical layer transmission in a network equipment comprising receiving, from a higher layer, messages to be transmitted during a subframe on one or more control channels; determining the number of elements required (i.e., aggregation level) for each control channel; allocating a plurality of physical resource blocks (PRBs) for transmitting the control channels and partitioning the PRBs into clusters; determining the interleaving depth (IDP) for each cluster; mapping each element to a cluster according to the IDP for that cluster; and generating a transmission signal comprising the clusters. In some embodiments, the IDP for each cluster is linearly related to the number of PRBs comprising that cluster, e.g., identical to the number of PRBs in that cluster. In some embodiments, the IDP for each cluster is related to the cluster index. Embodiments include network equipment and computer-readable media embodying one or more of the methods.

A method and apparatus may receive a downlink control information message from a base station. The message may include data indicating one or more transmit power control commands. The transmit power control commands may correspond to one or more transmit power control states and information redefining at least one of the transmit power control commands, corresponding to one of the states, to include content instructing a device to trigger generation of channel status information. The method and apparatus may also trigger generation of the channel status information in response to detecting the content instructing the device to trigger generation of channel status information and may provide the generated channel status information to the base station via an uplink communication.

摘要： Methods, apparatus and computer program products provide channel state information (CS1) measurement and reporting for a segment carrier in certain situations. An apparatus such as a base station may determine whether CSI is needed for a channel of a segment carrier comprising a segment portion and a contiguous bandwidth extension of a backward compatible carrier utilized by a base station for wireless communications with a mobile terminal. In response to determining that CSI is needed, the apparatus configures the mobile terminal to communicate channel state information from the mobile terminal to the base station. In other embodiments, an apparatus such as a mobile terminal is configured to receive configuration data indicating whether CSI is to be measured by the mobile terminal, and measuring the CSI and communicating the CSI to the base station in response to the configuration data.

摘要： Two formats for fallback mode signaling from a wireless network entity, such as an evolved node B (eNB), to a mobile terminal, such as user equipment, in an LTE wireless network. A single antenna port (SAP) format may be chosen when the physical resource blocks (PRBs) for the physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) do not collide with the broadcast channel/primary synchronization signal/secondary synchronization signal. The eNB determines whether the demodulation reference signal (DM RS) uses port 7 or 8 and sets flags in DCI format 1A to signal the result. In a second format the eNB decides if fallback mode is needed, schedules the PDSCH PRBs using DCI format 1A and chooses SAP or transmit diversity (TxD) signaling fallback based on the presence or absence of CRS in the PRBs. When CRS is not present, the eNB uses SAP fallback mode; if CRS is present, the eNB uses TxD fallback mode.
