    • An injection device (110) is provided that includes a housing (1 12) and a drive (121) that acts upon a syringe (122) when released by a trigger (1 14). The trigger (114) is rotatable from a rest position, in which it causes the drive (121) to be retained, to an active position, in which it no longer causes the drive (121) to be retained. A damping means (132) is arranged in conjunction with the trigger (114) to prevent accidental actuation of the device (110).     • The invention concerns an injection device (110) with a housing (112) adapted to receive a syringe (114) having a discharge nozzle (118) and a plunger (130). There is a trigger and a drive (134) arranged to act upon the plunger on actuation of the trigger to advance the syringe from a retracted position to an extended position through an opening (150) in the housing. The locking mechanism is engaged with the plunger when the syringe is not in its extended position and disengaged from the plunger when the syringe is in its extended position. This means that movement of the plunger relative to the syringe is prevented when, in use, the syringe is advanced from a retracted position to an extended position. Hence the contents of the syringe are not expelled from the syringe during advancement form the retracted position to the extended position.     • The present invention concerns an injection device (110) with a housing (112) adapted to receive a syringe (114) having a discharge nozzle (118), the housing having an indicator opening (113). Advantageously, the support member is arranged in the housing so that the second drive does not obscure an inspection of the contents of the syringe through the indicator opening.
