摘要： The present invention provides systems and methods for coupling communication system components, such as an air-line bus and associated antenna elements, in a relatively easy to implement and inexpensive way resulting in improved signal attributes, such as reduced intermodulations and/or echos. According to the present invention an interface member is disposed between the communication system components to be interfaced to provide increased interface surface area. The increased surface area provided by the present invention provides disbursement of signal currents to reduce the occurrences of various spurious signals. Additionally, the increased surface area provided by the present invention allows for improved bonding of the interface member to one or more of the communication components. A preferred embodiment of the present invention is adapted to further increase the surface area through the use of surface extensions and/or particular surface shapes. Preferred embodiments of the present invention specifically adapt the components to be interfaced for use according to the present invention, such as to provide reliefs to accept the interface member and/or to provide structures to mitigate spurious signals associated with use of the interface member.
