摘要： Systems and techniques relating to wireless networking, and target wake time (TWT) scheduling for transmissions employing an Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) digital modulation channelization include: receiving a frame at a wireless device, wherein a format of the frame comprises (i) a field indicating a target wake time, (ii) a first subfield having a first value that indicates a digital modulation channelization scheme, and (iii) a second subfield having a second value that indicates a transmission direction; and powering on the wireless device at the target wake time indicated by the field in the frame, wherein the powering on the wireless device enables the wireless device to transmit additional frames via a wireless channel based on (i) the first value set in the first subfield of the frame and (ii) the second value set in the second subfield of the frame.

摘要： A method for simultaneously communicating with multiple communication devices in a wireless local area network is described. Multiple uplink data units are received that are simultaneously transmitted by multiple second communication devices. The multiple uplink data units include a management data unit and a traffic data unit. An acknowledgment data unit is generated to acknowledge receipt of the multiple data units. The acknowledgment data unit includes (i) an indication that indicates that the acknowledgment data unit is intended for the multiple second communication devices, and (ii) respective acknowledgment information fields for the multiple second communication devices. The respective acknowledgment information fields include a first acknowledgment information field for the management data unit and a second acknowledgment information field for the traffic data unit. The acknowledgment data unit is caused to be transmitted from the first communication device to the multiple second communication devices.

摘要： An access point, AP, device determines a set of basic service set identifiers, BSSIDs. Each BSSID includes a same group of most significant bits (MSBs) and a different group ofnleast significant bits, LSBs. The AP device assigns respective BSSIDs from the set of BSSIDs to multiple virtual APs, and designates one of the assigned BSSIDs as a reference BSSID that corresponds to a transmitter address, TA (510) for frames intended for client stations associated with more than one virtual AP. The AP device generates and transmits a management frame (500) that includes i) a header with a TA field set to one of the assigned BSSIDs (510), and ii) a frame body with a plurality of fields that includes a) a first field (568) set to n, and b) a second field (570) set to the n LSBs of the reference BSSID. The TA field, the first field, and the second field in the management frame indicate the reference BSSID to a client station that receives the management frame.

A described technique includes sensing a group of channels for a channel contention operation that acquires two or more channels of the group of channels and detects a busy channel of the group of channels; determining a channel bonding indicator based on the channel contention operation; generating a preamble portion of a frame that includes the channel bonding indicator; generating a data portion of the frame, and transmitting the frame to one or more devices. Generating the preamble portion can include duplicating a legacy preamble on each of the acquired channels within the preamble portion. Generating the data portion can include setting first subcarriers that correspond to the acquired channels to data values, and setting second subcarriers that correspond to the busy channel to null values for at least a portion of the data portion of the frame.

The channel access module accesses a channel of an unlicensed frequency band, which includes a plurality of subchannels. The scheduling module generates a schedule for a plurality of high efficiency wireless local area network client stations to transmit data to the access point via the channel of the unlicensed frequency band. The schedule includes information for the plurality of client stations regarding (i) a time slot in which to access the channel without contention to transmit data to the access point via the channel, (ii) a subchannel of the plurality of subchannels to use during the time slot to transmit data to the access point, and (iii) one or more spatial streams to use on the subchannel and during the time slot to transmit data to the access point.
