    • A device (1) for storing and releasing heat energy for an electrical power production plant, the device (1) being apt to receive a concentrated solar radiation and it is based upon the use of a granular fluidisable modular bed, a heat exchanger associated thereto and upon an independent activation of the storing step from the re leasing step. The thermal separation of fluidisation gas from the working fluid, the selective fluidisation of bed zones, the variation of the velocity of heat transfer and additional heat input of fuel gas make the regulation of the generated thermal power extremely flexible. Said device mainly comprising: at least one bed (3, 30) of fluidisable particles, arranged at least partly at receiving surfaces (20) for such radiation; means (14, 142, 21) for feeding a fluidisation gas for the fluidisation of said particles; and heat exchange elements (4) flown through, in use, by an operating fluid and arranged at or in proximity of said bed (3, 30) of fluidisable particles, wherein the overall arrangement is such that, in use, portions (3, 30) of said bed of particles are apt to be selectively moved by the fluidisation gas for storing heat energy received from solar radiation in a storing step and for releasing stored heat energy to said heat exchange elements (4) in a releasing step, and wherein the overall arrangement is such as to allow an independent activation of the heat storing step from the heat releasing step.

    • The present invention relates to a cooling system for dry extraction of heavy bottom ash output from furnaces for solid fuel during storing step at hopper, characterized by suitable air intakes (2), placed on the sidewalls of the hopper (1) at the hopper bottom, through which a controlled amount of cooling air passes sucked up in the combustion chamber (12) by the depression value therein, capable to achieve an uniform and balanced distribution system for such air during storing step at hopper (1) which optimizes the cooling of the falling ash, leaving the total amount of the air entering the furnace unchanged. The distribution header of the intakes (2) is connected to the extractor environment (6) by the lid (7) through a suitable conduit (3) provided with automated valve (8) being open during the storing step allowing the cooling air through to pass said intakes (2) placed on the sidewalls of the hopper (1). A more efficient cooling may be obtained by any addition of water input by nozzles (14) suitably placed within the hopper (1). The water amount may be adjusted such that the ash cooling improvement function is actuated without humidifying it.

    • The present invention is about a pre-crushing device for hot loose solid materials (11) produced by boilers and other industrial processes, coupled with a conveyor/cooler (9), substantially comprising a fixed steel frame (1), integral with a restraint hopper (6), and a mobile frame (2), free to slide on said fixed frame (1) by means of wheels (3) and activated by two pneumatic pistons (4). One or more steel bars (5) are rigidly connected to the mobile frame (2), said steel bars (5) being free to slide downward or upward too and being able to crush blocks of hard material encountered in their stroke. The pre-crushing device is connected to the restraint hopper (6) for the material to be pre-crushed, said restraint hopper (6) being connected in its turn to a crusher (7) which provides for a secondary crushing of the material with reduced size.
