摘要： A lever actuator is disclosed for use in applications requiring a rotational adjustment such as the length of or tension on a cable. The actuator includes a housing (12), a stationary shaft (26, 68) fixedly mounted in the housing, a driver (18, 70) received about the shaft, a cable (56) attached to the driver and at least one clutch spring (30, 76) coupled to the driver and received about the shaft. A handle (54) in the form of a lever rotates the driver in either of two directions away from a neutral position (62) to wind or unwind the cable onto or off of the driver. When the handle is in the neutral position the driver is prevented from rotating by contraction of the clutch spring on the fixed shaft. A centering spring (40) can be used to bias the handle (54) and driver to the neutral position.
