摘要： The claimed invention presents methods for predicting the outcomes of physiological systems in real time using limited data input and computational resources. The claimed invention is comprised of simplified, or abstracted, physiological models, derived from detailed cloud- based computational systems biology models. Abstracted models are capable of utilizing limited data streams, typically obtained from non-invasive data acquisition devices, to accurately estimate, predict and display the outcomes of physiological systems in real time on the device, compared to detailed cloud-based estimations that are computationally demanding and can be used to continuously update abstracted models over time.

摘要： A device (10) for obtaining metabolic parameters of a subject by determining the oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production of the subject is provided. The device includes a portable body (12) defining an air flow path (20) between a mouthpiece (14) and a vent-hole (16). Inhaled and exhaled air is passed through the mouthpiece along the air flow path. Air flow meters (26, 30, 34) measure the flow rate of air exhaled through the mouthpiece, inhaled through the mouthpiece and expired into the atmosphere, respectively. At least one removable cartridge (24) is provided in the body, the cartridge having carbon dioxide sequestering material therein for sequestering both the inhaled and exhaled air of carbon dioxide.

摘要： To participate in a health incentive program, a customer of a health-related business such as a health insurance company or medical group entity may use a physiological measurement device to report health-related activity to the business. However, a customer may report fraudulent activity to the business by allowing another party to use the physiological measurement device. In embodiments, an electronic device, a collection and validation server, and a physiological measurement device may execute methods to ensure that the user of the physiological measurement device has identified themselves properly to the business. In embodiments, the electronic device and the physiological measurement device may produce sets of physiological measurement data that are compared to determine that a user of the electronic device is the same as the user of the physiological measurement device. The electronic device may produce a set of physiological measurement data using video and image processing techniques.
