    • The present invention relates to a composition for producing a separator for an electrochemical device, to a method for producing the separator for the electrochemical device, and to the electrochemical device using same. More particularly, the present invention relates to the composition for producing the separator for the electrochemical device, comprising: polyolefin; a first diluent; and a second diluent, wherein the interaction energy of the first diluent and the second diluent is 2 to 3.5 cal/cm3, and to the method for producing the separator for the electrochemical device, and to the electrochemical device using same. According to the present invention, the size of a pore of the separator made of polyolefin can be appropriately adjusted to a size desired by a user, and high temperature stability and mechanical properties of the separator can be remarkably improved, thereby lengthening the service life, and improving the stability, of the electrochemical device.
