摘要： An autostereoscopic display device comprises a display arrangement such as an emissive display arrangement or an reflective dispplay arrangement, with an array of spaced pixels. A light guiding arrangement has an array of light guide columns, with one column over each display pixel or over a group (such as a column) of pixels. The light guide columns comprise aside wall which tapers outwardly to define a funnel shape with the pixel at the smaller base of the funnel. The funnel provides collimation to reduce cross talk in the display, which is particularly problematic for 3D autostereoscopic displays.

摘要： An autostereoscopic display device uses a display arrangement such as an emissive display arrangement or a reflective display arrangement and an autostereoscopic lens arrangement. A light controlling layer is provided between the display arrangement and the lens arrangement, with a refractive index lower than the surrounding materials. This reduces waveguiding in the lens arrangement by increasing the total internal reflection for shallow angles (near the plane of the display) before the light enters the lens arrangement.

摘要： A transparent capacitive powering system (200) is disclosed. The system comprises a pair of receiver electrodes (241, 242) connected to a load (250) through an inductor (260), wherein the inductor is coupled to the load to resonate the system; and a transparent infrastructure (220) having at least a first layer (130) of a non-conductive transparent material and a second layer (120) of a conductive transparent material coupled to each other, wherein the second layer is arranged to form a pair of transmitter electrodes (221, 222), wherein the pair of receiver electrodes are decoupled from the second layer, thereby forming a capacitive impedance between the pair of transmitter electrodes and the pair of receiver electrodes, wherein a power signal generated by a driver (210) is wirelessly transferred from the pair of transmitter electrodes to the pair of receiver electrodes to power the load when a frequency of the power signal substantially matches a series-resonance frequency of the first inductor and the capacitive impedance.
