In a preferred manner, a bolt (32) is threaded to a metal brace member (20) on a frame (14) which has access openings (16, 17) adjacent the bolt for adjustment purposes. The bolt acts as an adjustable brace. A panel member (15) is easily attached to and removed from the frame member.

A stop member (68) is attached to the sill (28) and retains the doors (31, 32, 33) above the ledge between the stop member (68) and the raised lip. Detent blocks also are disclosed for holding the doors (31, 32, 33) in a closed state.

    • A cartridge type mixing valve is disclosed. A pin (28) and groove (34, 35) arrangement is provided between an operating spindle (23) and a plastic drive member (33) to effect a linear movement of a valve disk. Wall members (36, 38) provide the groove arrangement, and additional interconnected wall members afford stability with a reduction of plastic material. Force load distribution on the drive member is effected by means of lateral extensions of the pin and groove. The pin is made integral so that a reduced size mixing valve can be achieved without loss of control over the drive member.

    • A fluid valve (10) has a housing (12) formed by first and second halves (14, 16) which combine at mating surfaces (26) to form a cavity (22) with an inlet (18) in the first half and an outlet (18) in the second half. The mating surface of each half includes a notch (32) extending between an outer edge of mating surface and the cavity, and includes an annular recess (28) around the cavity. A pad (40) is formed on each mating surface between the cavity and the annular recess, and has a groove (42) that forms a bushing when the first and second units are connected. A butterfly valve member (82) is located within the cavity and is mounted on a valve stem (76). The valve stem has an end that rides in the bushing and a portion that passes through the notches in the housing halves. An annular seal (44) fits within the recesses to prevent fluid leakage between the two housing halves and also seals around the valve stem portion. In addition the butterfly valve member engages the seal in a closed state of the valve.

    • A generator powered by an internal combustion engine is fueled from a source of biogas. A pump boosts the pressure of the biogas, and a regulator controls the biogas pressure supplied to the fuel intake of the engine carburetor. Acid-neutralizing oil is injected into the biogas stream at the intake of the pump to protect the engine from corrosion due to acidic constituents in the biogas. In a preferred embodiment the biogas flows through a filter which removes hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans and through a coalescer to remove water vapor. A regulator controls the biogas pressure supplied to the fuel intake of the engine, carburetor, and acid-neutralizing oil is injected into the engine intake each time the engine is shut down to protect the engine from acidic constituents in the biogas.
