摘要： Visor systems solve the problem of accommodating a frontal air bag deployment system and providing adequate sun blocking. In one embodiment, a folded or sliding multiple panel visor is provided which can be compactly stored in a location either forwardly or rearwardly of an overhead air bag so as not to interfere with the deployment of the air bag. In another embodiment, roll-up pivoted screen-type visors which do not interfere with air bag deployment are employed. In other embodiments, conventionally shaped visors are secured to the A-pillar area of the vehicle to position the visor mount in an area which does not interfere with the deployment of an overhead frontal air bag. In other embodiments, visors can be mounted directly to the air bag module or to a deflector plate on the module.

摘要： A system for controlling distribution of utilities provided to articles mounted to a modular system in a vehicle, the modular system having at least one member coupled to an interior portion of the vehicle, includes at least one electrical connector coupled to the modular system. An article is coupled to the at least one electrical connector and is mounted to the modular system. A control module is coupled to the at least one electrical connector and is configured to determine if the article is coupled to the electrical connector and to selectively activate the electrical connector. The electrical connector may be repositionable along, for example, the length of the member of the modular system. The electrical connector may include a plurality of electrical connections corresponding to each utility required by the article.
