摘要： Fractional symbol based phase noise mitigation, including methods and systems to determine phase noise trajectory, or indication of phase noise, for each of multiple fractional portions of a frequency domain symbol, and modify the symbol based on the phase noise trajectories of the subsets. Multiple correction hypotheses may be generated for each fractional portion of the symbol based on pre-defined phase noise hypotheses. The correction hypotheses may include frequency domain correction hypotheses. The correction hypotheses for a subset may be evaluated to select one of the phase noise hypotheses as the trajectory for the subset. The evaluation may include applying each correction hypothesis to a corresponding equalized frequency domain symbol to generate corresponding symbol hypotheses, computing a signal quality for each symbol hypothesis, and comparing the signal qualities. Signal qualities may be determined as error vector magnitudes, and may be based on all or a subset of corresponding symbol tones.

摘要： Long range transmission using Wi-Fi is useful for a number of implementation environments. Due to the low cost of Wi-Fi chips, long range Wi-Fi can be used for wider coverage in, for example, rural areas or other more distant areas from an AP, and as a low cost solution as compared to cellular networks. Additionally, long range transmission can be used for whole home coverage including both indoor and outdoor coverage, such as for example in the yard or areas proximate to an access point. A longer range transmission protocol can be achieved by concentrating the transmission power within a narrower band or a specially designed band usable for more robust and longer transmissions to address the above needs.

摘要： This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to scrambler initialization for multi-user (MU) clear to send (CTS) transmission. A first device may identify a MU request to send (RTS) frame received from a second device. The first device may determine an initial state of a scrambler based on the first 7 bits of a service field of the MU-RTS frame. The first device may cause first data to be scrambled, using the initial state of the scrambler, resulting in second data. The first device may cause to send a MU-CTS frame that comprises the second data to the second device.
