摘要： An apparatus (1) for preparing a coffee beverage comprises containing means (2) for heating an extracting fluid, transferring means (5, 7) for causing said fluid to pass through a dose of coffee (W) , and is characterised in that it comprises inhibiting means (17; 117) arranged for inhibiting said passing through when said fluid contains a substantial steam phase, said inhibiting means comprising pressure -adjust ing means (4; 4') arranged for adjusting a pressure of said fluid inside said containing means (2) and distinct from overpressure adjusting means comprised in said apparatus (1) ; a method for obtaining a coffee beverage comprises heating an extracting fluid of said beverage to induce said fluid to pass through a dose of coffee (W) , and is characterised in that inhibiting said passing through is provided when said fluid contains a substantial steam phase and suitably adjusting a pressure of said extracting fluid before said passing through is provided for, said adjusting being obtained through pressure -adjust ing means distinct from overpressure adjusting means.
