摘要： A standing aid chair with a seat consisting of at least two elements (3A, 3B) in the shape of a variable-geometry bracket. The chair has a structural assembly (1) consisting of a base (2) with legs (15), and a frame (6) connected via first coupling members (8) to the first seat element (3A) and via second coupling members (9) to the base (2), each of said coupling members (8, 9) being movable between two end positions by a raising and lowering mechanism. When moved, said first coupling members (8) essentially enable a so-called comfort adjustment of the seat, whereas said second coupling members (9) essentially move the seat from a lowered position to a raised position and vice versa. Said chair is useful as a standing aid.
