摘要： Disclosed is a modular conveyer (1) for conveying chip cards (9A,9B,9C,9D). The conveyer comprises at least a first pulley (30) driving a first convey means (3) and a second pulley (50) driving a second convey means (5). The two convey means are parallel. Each convey means comprises cleats (7). The cleats (7) of the first convey mean (3) are arranged at a determined distance from the cleats (7) of the second convey means (5) for maintaining chips cards (9A,9B,9C,9D) between the cleats of the first convey means (3) and the cleats of the second convey means (5). The relative position between the first pulley (30) and the second pulley (50) is adjustable to modify the distance (D) between the cleats of the first convey means (3) and the cleats of the second convey means (5). The modular conveyer can be adjusted to match the chip cards of different format in an automatic production line, thus saving the time of changing the conveyer and decreasing production cost.

摘要： Poly(aryl piperidinium) polymers with pendant cationic groups are provided which have an alkaline-stable cation, piperidinium, introduced into a rigid aromatic polymer backbone free of ether bonds. Hydroxide exchange membranes or hydroxide exchange ionomers formed from these polymers exhibit superior chemical stability, hydroxide conductivity, decreased water uptake, good solubility in selected solvents, and improved mechanical properties in an ambient dry state as compared to conventional hydroxide exchange membranes or ionomers. Hydroxide exchange membrane fuel cells comprising the poly(aryl piperidinium) polymers with pendant cationic groups exhibit enhanced performance and durability at relatively high temperatures.

摘要： Electrochemical devices including electrochemical pumps (ECPs) and fuel cell systems comprising a fuel cell and an ECP are disclosed. In particular, this electrochemical device can be an ECP that comprises an anode, a cathode and an anion exchange polymer separating the anode from the cathode. The ECP can be coupled to a hydroxide exchange membrane fuel cell (HEMFC) that is disclosed herein as a fuel cell system. These devices can be used in methods for removing carbon dioxide from air and for generating electricity.
