摘要： The present invention relates to stable substantially non-aqueous, non-alcoholic, non-silicone, foamable carrier compositions comprising petrolatum or mixtures thereof, at least one foam agent, at least one propellant, and with and without the addition of an active agent. The formulations may contain a solvent substantially miscible therein. The present invention further provides a method of treating, alleviating or preventing a disorder of mammalian subject in need thereof, comprising administering the above-mentioned compositions to an afflicted target site of said mammalian subject.

摘要： A waterless foamable pharmaceutical composition suitable for external administration is disclosed. The composition includes a foamable carrier least one liquefied or compressed gas propellant. The foamable carrier includes at least one liquid oil; at least one silicone and at least one least one stabilizing agent; wherein the stabilizing agent selected from the group consisting of about 0.01 % to about 25% by weight of at least one surface-active agent alone or on combination with a foam adjuvant; and about 0% to about 5% by weight of at least one polymeric agent alone or on combination with a foam adjuvant; and mixtures thereof. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising active agents, methods for their preparation, propellants suitable for use with the carriers and uses thereof are further described.

摘要： This invention relates to foamable compositions that are capable of producing a sensation or sensation modifying effect upon application on a body surface. More particularly the invention relates to a composition that provides to a subject at least one sensation for a sustained period of time following application to the skin. The composition includes (a) at least one sensation or sensation modifying agent, comprising one or more of a cooling agent, a warming agent, a relaxing or soothing agent, and a stimulating or refreshing agent; (b) a foamable carrier; and (c) a propellant having a concentration about 3% to about 45% by weight of the total composition. The composition is stored in an aerosol container and upon release expands to form a non-crackling short term stable foam.

摘要： A topical therapeutic hydrophobic breakable composition includes a carrier comprising (a) about 60% to about 99% by weight of at least one hydrophobic oil; (b) at least one viscosity-modifying agents selected from the group consisting of a fatty alcohol, a fatty acid and a wax; and (c) a tetracycline antibiotic, characterized in that at least part of the tetracycline antibiotic is suspended in the composition; the viscosity of the composition is at least about 30% higher than the viscosity of the carrier without the tetracycline antibiotic; and is higher than the viscosity of the hydrophobic oil and the tetracycline antibiotic without the viscosity modifying agents. The tetracycline is chemically stable in the composition for at least six months; wherein more than about 90% of the tetracycline has not broken down. The composition is packaged as a breakable foam that breaks easily upon application of shear force.

摘要： Pharmaceutical or cosmetic compositions and methods for their use are provided comprising water and a surfactant polymer system comprising a Poloxamer at a concentration of about 0.1 % to about 15% by weight; wherein when the Poloxamer is between about 0.1 % to about 5% Poloxamer. The composition can further comprise a supporting agent comprising a non-ionic surface active agent or a supporting agent comprising a non surfactant polymer or polysaccharide and an active agent, where the Poloxamer is capable of fixing the composition on delivery to a body surface.
