摘要： A composite sheet biasable into a tubular shape to form a sleeve for isolating or protecting elongated items is disclosed. The sheet has a reflective surface formed by a metal foil layer overlying a flexible polymer layer having a metalized surface. A biasable polymer netting layer is positioned overlying the flexible layer opposite the metalized surface. The netting layer is formed of elongated members that define interstices. A damping layer of non-woven material is positioned adjacent to the netting layer. An adhesive layer is positioned between the flexible layer and the netting layer to bond the netting layer and the damping layer to the flexible layer. Biasing is effected by the elongated members of the netting layer which are stiffer in the circumferential direction around the sleeve to provide radial stiffness.

摘要： An assembly for protecting a sensor connected to a wiring harness is disclosed. The assembly includes a heat shield having a bore for receiving the sensor. An elongated harness sleeve extends outwardly from the sensor and through the bore of the heat shield, the harness sleeve surrounding the wiring harness. A positioning device for holding the heat shield at a predetermined position along the harness sleeve engages both the harness sleeve and the heat shield. The positioning device is formed from an elongated band that surrounds a central space. A plurality of flexible, resilient fingers are positioned on the band and extend inwardly into the central space. The fingers forcibly engage the harness sleeve to hold the device and the heat shield with which it is engaged in a predetermined position along the harness sleeve surrounding the sensor.

The outer conductor is covered by a second layer (240) of a dielectric material, and the inner conductor (210) is arranged inside said first layer (230) of a dielectric material. The cable (200) additionally comprises a first optical cable (310) housed inside the inner electrical conductor (210), so that the inner (210) and outer (220) electrical conductors as well as the first (230) and second (240) layers of dielectric material serve to house and shield said first optical cable (310), and the inner (210) and outer (220) conductors are adapted to transport power and/or an electrical signal.
