    • A street light (1) is releasably detachably mountable to a bracket (3) attached to a street light support (7A). The mounting bracket (3) includes electrical power terminals (9) to provide electrical power therefrom. The street light (1) comprises a light housing (11) having a retaining means (13) to releasably engage with the mounting bracket (3) to secure the light housing (11) to the street support (7B). The retaining means (13) has an electrical coupling (15/29) forming an electrical connection to the mounting bracket power terminals (9) when the retaining means (13) is engaged with the mounting bracket (3). A lighting controller (51) is associated with the housing (11) and has an input electrically connected to the retaining means electrical coupling (15/29) and an output terminating at a lamp holder (17) disposed within the housing (11) wherein the light housing retaining means (13) engages with the mounting bracket (3) in a keyed or screwed-thread engagement; or by means of one or more clamps, clips or pins; or in an interference fit. A method of retrofitting a street light and a street light assembly for mounting to a street light support is also provided.

    • A building services control system including a building RF receiver and a user RF transmitter configured to be carried or worn by a user. The user RF transmitter is configured to transmit an RF signal for receipt by the building RF receiver.     • A method of providing a locational mapping system (10) includes defining a database (1) and configuring same to receive a plurality of unique identifiers and associating with each identifier corresponding geophysical coordinates indicative of a location of said identifier. The database (1) is accessible via a communications network and is configured to receive input from users including new identifiers and geophysical coordinates associated therewith. Application software for a mobile computing device is also provided so that execution thereof configures said computing device to access said database (1) via said communications network to provide user input or to search said database for one or more predetermined identifiers or locations stored in said database. The database provides corresponding location or identifier information respectively and the database sends to said computing device via said application software the geophysical coordinates associated with each said identifier and said identifiers are overlaid onto a map at locations associated therewith for display or manipulation on said computing device. Most preferably, the geophysical coordinates consist of longitude and latitude or consist of longitude and latitude and altitude.
