摘要： A hollow feed tube (25) has a pair of generally radial openings (38) adjacent the tip end (39) thereof for dispensing water from an inverted bottle (11) having a cap (35) with an axially inwardly extending central recess (36). The feed tube is dimensioned to penetrate and sealingly engage the cap recess and disengage a sealing plug (37) from the recess when the inverted water bottle is lowered onto the feed tube so as to expose the radial openings to water in the bottle. A conical diverter (45) is disposed within the tip end of the hollow feed tube for intercepting bubbles of replacement air rising upwardly through the hollow feed tube and diverting the bubbles outwardly through one radial opening while water from the bottle flows inwardly through the other radial opening.

摘要： A liquid dispenser is provided including a cabinet (20, 22) housing a liquid reservoir (100) at its upper end and readily releasable from engagement with the evaporator coil (106) of a refrigeration unit for removal from the cabinet. The dispenser also includes a removable valve assembly (162, 164, 166) with inlet openings press-fit to the reservoir outlets and to the inlets and outlets of a hot tank (220) removably suspended below the valve assembly and liquid reservoir. 摘要： A hygienic liquid dispensing system (10) having a cap (50) to close the opening of an inverted liquid container (15) is disclosed. The cap (50) has a lid portion (53) to overlie and sealingly close the opening and an annular skirt portion (55) extending axially away from the lid (53) to surround a portion of the container neck (51). The lid portion (53) is provided with an axially inwardly extending recess (60) including an outer sleeve (62) and an inner plug portion (70) integrally formed with a frangible connection (75) therebetween. A feed tube (45) is dimensioned for forcible insertion into the recess (60) for breaking the frangible connection (75) and separating the plug portion (70) from the sleeve (62) to permit the discharge of liquid from the container (15). A mounting apparatus (25) is also provided to fit on the upper portion (26) of a cabinet (20) and defines an annular ring (24) for supporting the inverted container (15) thereon which also defines a tapered entry portion (27) extending downwardly and inwardly from the annular ring (24) for receiving the inverted container (15) therein.
