The DMB transmitter includes a base layer transmission processor for encoding base layer stream, an enhancement layer transmission processor for encoding enhancement layer stream, and a hierarchical transmitter for transmitting the base layer stream and the enhancement layer stream by allocating a predetermined bit value through encoding the base layer stream outputted from the base layer transmission processor and the enhancement layer stream outputted from the enhancement layer transmission processor based on gray coding and performing hierarchical symbol mapping.

摘要： Provided is an apparatus and method for estimating inverse channel of a repeater's receiving channel, which ensures stability and causality by generating a time-domain filter coefficient having information on an inverse channel of repeater's receiving channel from a signal transmitted from a main transmitter or another repeater. The apparatus includes: a channel estimator for estimating a channel established by a transmission path from a received signal; an inverse minimum phase filter coefficient generator for generating inverse channel of a minimum phase channel from the estimated channel, and converting the inverse channel of the minimum phase channel into a time-domain filter coefficient; an inverse group delay filter coefficient generator for generating a time-domain filter coefficient by using the estimated channel and the minimum phase channel; and a combiner for generating an inverse channel of a receiving channel in a time domain by combining the filter coefficient and the filter coefficient.

摘要： Provided is a digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) system that can provide a multimedia data broadcasting service having an excellent reception quality, a method thereof, and a computer-readable recording medium for recording a program that implements the method. The DMB system includes an encoding unit for encoding an inputted audio/video signal; a synchronizing unit for synchronizing media stream, additional data, interactive service objectifying data that are outputted from the encoding unit; a multiplexing unit for multiplexing the media stream outputted from the synchronizing unit; an error correction encoding unit for performing additional error correction encoding on the media stream outputted from the multiplexing unit; an interleaving unit for removing temporal correlation between adjacent byte units within a data stream outputted from the error correction encoding unit; and a transmitting unit for transmitting a DMB media stream outputted from the interleaving unit to the conventional DAB system and other digital broadcasting systems.

摘要： Provided is an electronic program guide (EPG) service using an EPG extensible markup language (XML) in a digital audio broadcasting (DAB)/digital multimedia broad casting (DMB) system, and more particularly, a voice-enabled EPG provision method which enables a user to listen to desired program information without looking at a screen or a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel or make a desired input by voice or through other interfaces while watching a broadcasting program by adding a voice input/output function to an EPG service. In this method, a tag for an interactive voice input/output function, i.e., an interactive dialog between a user and a system, is added or extended to an EPG XML which was designed to provide a text or screen-based EPG service. Therefore, the DAB/DMB system can have the voice input/output function in addition to text and graphics output functions. These functions enable a user to listen to or view desired program information through a screen, by voice, or in an integrated mode of the screen and voice while on the move.

The ultrasonic device can induce the regeneration of cartilage tissue by the activation of cartilage tissue, and thus, can fundamentally treat degenerative arthritis.
