摘要： Compositions of the present invention comprise from about 40 - 99% of an aqueous suspension of silicone elastomer powder in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle. The compositions are useful as skin exfoliants when mechanical agitation is supplied, for example by rubbing with a hand. After exfoliation, little or no film or residue remains on the skin and washing the treated area is optional. The cosmetically acceptable vehicle may comprise a wide range of beneficial ingredients, cosmetic or dermatological actives and additives. The present invention also encompasses a method of exfoliating skin in need of such treatment.

摘要： A system and method are provided for targeted and individualized delivery of multiple skin benefit agents to the skin of a user. The image of a predetermined treatment area of the user's skin is first captured by an imaging device. The captured image data is then analyzed by a computing device to generate a unique skin profile for the user, which is indicative of the skin conditions at the predetermined treatment area. Based on such skin profile, a printing device prints out one or more cosmetic delivery sheets that can be applied to the predetermined treatment area. Each of the cosmetic delivery sheets contains a substrate with multiple isolate, discrete regions, while at least two of the regions are imprinted with different skin benefit agents for treating different skin conditions of the predetermined treatment area according to the unique skin profile of the user.

摘要： The present invention relates to an alcohol-free transparent sunscreen composition containing at least one chemical ultra-violet (UV) light absorber, at least one solvent and at least one diphenyl silicone elastomer gellant. Preferably, the solvent is selected from the group consisting of dimethicone, dicaprylyl carbonate, lauryl lactate, neopentyl glycol diheptanoate, glycerin, and combinations thereof, and the diphenyl silicone elastomer gellant contains diphenylsiloxy phenyl trimethicone. Such a transparent sunscreen composition can be used to form a stable and aesthetically appeal clear gel for protecting skin against harmful effects of UV radiation.

摘要： A system and methods are provided for targeted and individualized delivery of multiple skin benefit agents to the skin of a user. The image of a predetermined treatment area of the user's skin is first captured by an imaging device. The captured image data is then analyzed by a computing device to generate a unique skin profile for the user, which is indicative of the skin conditions at the predetermined treatment area. Based on such skin profile, a printing device prints out one or more cosmetic delivery sheets that can be applied to the predetermined treatment area. Each of the cosmetic delivery sheets contains a substrate with multiple isolated, discrete regions, while at least two of the regions are imprinted with different skin benefit agents for treating different skin conditions of the predetermined treatment area according to the unique skin profile of the user. Targeted delivery of one or multiple skin benefit agents to the skin of a user may be achieved by applying and conforming to the skin a flexible cosmetic delivery sheet having associated therewith, on a first surface, one or multiple cosmetic treatment compositions provided in isolated, discrete regions, while an opposite surface of the sheet is provided with imprinted, predetermined regions corresponding to respective isolated, discrete regions on the first surface of the sheet. The user manipulates the sheet at the imprinted predetermined regions in a manner indicated by the imprinted predetermined regions to release one or multiple skin treatment compositions from the isolated, discrete regions and deliver effective amounts of one or multiple skin benefit agents to the targeted areas of the skin underlying the isolated, discrete regions of the sheet.

摘要： The present invention includes a urea powder, the particles of which are encapsulated in a dimethicone and silica network, prior to being incorporated into anhydrous compositions. The encapsulated urea is capable of imparting a cooling activity to a topical composition. The invention also pertains to topical, cooling compositions containing an encapsulated urea. The encapsulated urea is new and its use to impart a cooling activity to topical anhydrous compositions is new. Topical, anhydrous compositions comprising the encapsulated urea are also new. Anhydrous compositions containing the urea are stable against hydrolysis that might otherwise occur due to the ambient humidity. Disclosed compositions create a clean and fresh feel for a user.
