    • A transmission system (1) is arranged for transmitting power generated by an engine (2) of a vehicle. The transmission system (1) comprises a power take-off (3) for driving an implement and a hydrostatic unit (5) for transmitting power from the engine (2) to the power take-off (3). The hydrostatic unit (5) comprises: - a first hydraulic power unit (6) having a first connection line (19) and a second connection line (20); - a second hydraulic power unit (7) having a first connection line (21) and a second connection line (22);10 - a valve (23) for connecting the first hydraulic power unit (6) and the second hydraulic power unit (7), the valve (23) being positionable at least in a first position and in a second position. In the first position, the first connection line (19) and the second connection line (20) of the first hydraulic power unit (6) are connected respectively to the first connection line (21) and to the second connection line (22) of the second hydraulic power unit (7). In the second position, the first connection line (19) and the second connection line (20) of the first hydraulic power unit (6) are connected respectively to the second connection line (22) and to the first connection line (21) of the second hydraulic power unit (7). The valve (23) is controlled according to a cycle of hysteresis when required to switch between the first position and the second position at a preset value of engine speed (ω).
