An input drives the variator (310) and the planetary gears. A first planetary output gear (348) is connected to the first output of the planetary gear arrangement (320). A second planetary output gear (350) is connected to the first output, and a third planetary output gear (352) is connectable by a first clutch (360) to a second output of the planetary gear arrangement (320). A first output member (326) is connected to the third planetary output gear (352), a second clutch (362) releasably connects the first output member (326) with the first planetary output gear (348), a third clutch (364) connects the first output member (326) with the second planetary output gear (350), a fourth clutch (366) connects the second output member (326) with the first planetary output gear (348), and a fifth clutch (368) connects the second output member (326) with the second planetary output gear (350).
