    • A tool for moving an abrasive media. The tool includes a tool body, a platen, a drive system and a retaining knob. The platen has an exterior platen surface and a knob aperture that is formed through the exterior platen surface. The drive system is housed in the tool body and configured to move the platen. The drive system includes an output member with a first threaded portion. The retaining knob is received through the knob aperture in the exterior platen surface of the platen. The retaining knob has a knob portion, which has an exterior surface, and an attachment member with a second threaded portion that is threadably coupled to the first threaded portion. The platen surface and at least a portion of the knob surface are co-planar. A related method is also provided.

    • A power tool (10) is described which has several modes of operation, such as drilling and screw driving modes. A clutch is provided with various settings for adjusting the torque at which the clutch interrupts power to a spindle (18). Furthermore, a two speed gearbox (16) is provided for adjusting the speed of the spindle. All of these variables are controllable from a single adjustment member or collar (26) thereby reducing necessary decisions needed to be made by an operator for a particular job in hand. For instance, when an operator wants the tool to operate in a screw driving mode, the gearbox is automatically set to drive the spindle at a low speed with the clutch being operable to interrupt drive when a torque force applied to the spindle exceeds a threshold value. Furthermore, if the tool is required to operate in a drilling mode, the gearbox is automatically switched to drive the spindle at a higher speed and the clutch is automatically rendered inoperable.

    • This present invention provides a blade (40) for use with a power tool, said blade comprising: an arcuate cutting edge (54); an elongate body member having its longitudinal axis substantially aligned with a radius of said arcuate cutting edge; a first attachment point (42) for attaching said blade to said power tool, said first attachment point providing means whereby, in use of said blade, said arcuate cutting edge may be driven by said power tool in a reciprocating motion; a second attachment point (52), also for attaching said blade to said power tool, said second attachment point providing a pivot point about which, in use of said blade, said blade may pivot; wherein the centre of curvature (C) of said arcuate cutting edge is offset from said pivot point.     • An apparatus for helping to protect an occupant (12) of a vehicle includes a vest(20) and a restraint (50) incorporated into the vest (20).
