    • The present invention relates to an LED luminaire using an LED package, in which the heat generated from LEDs for lighting is efficiently dissipated to maximize the light emitting characteristics and lifespan thereof, and to a manufacturing method for same. The luminaire of the present invention includes an LED package, a heat dissipation unit, a globe, and a screw cap. The LED package has a plurality of LEDs, a board, and a heat conducting unit. The board is formed into a polygonal shape, has one surface on which a wiring is arranged to apply power to the plurality of LEDs, and is mounted with the plurality of LEDs. The heat conducting unit is tightly arranged on an inner surface of the board, and contacts an atmosphere. The heat dissipation unit dissipates heat generated from the LED package. The globe encases the LED package. The screw cap is coupled onto the top of the heat dissipation unit, and fitted to a socket.

    • The present invention relates to a bar-type LED lighting device which converts AC power being applied from a fluorescent lamp socket into DC power, in a power supply panel that is provided within a housing, and which can ensure sufficient resistance insulation in an LED panel in a non-insulated power device. The present invention comprises: a housing which is hollow inside and which has an LED accommodating section formed on the outer surface on one side thereof; a first and a second cap which are coupled to the ends of the housing and which receive AC power as an input; a power supply panel which is built into the hollow section within the housing and which is for converting AC power to DC power; an LED panel which is mounted on the LED accommodating section and which has a plurality of LEDs mounted along the lengthwise direction of a substrate, and has an AC power line for providing the AC power applied from the electrode terminal of the first cap or the second cap to the power supply panel, and a DC power line for applying DC power to the LEDs; and a transparent cover, both edges of which are coupled to the LED accommodating section, and which is for protecting the LED panel.

    • The present invention relates to a heat dissipating unit and an LED lighting apparatus using the same, wherein the heat dissipating unit can be manufactured by a simple manufacturing process and with reduced manufacturing costs, and which discharges heat in an effective manner when arranging a driving element on the rear surface of an LED substrate on which a plurality of high luminance LEDs are mounted. The heat dissipating unit is configured in that heat dissipating fins are arranged inside and outside of a hollow body, and openings are formed at the hollow body to effectively dissipate heat to the outside via both conduction and convection. The heat dissipating unit for the LED lighting apparatus includes a truncated cone-shaped or cylindrical main body having a hollow portion, and heat dissipating fins arranged into a spire along the outside and/or the surface of the main body. Moreover, the main body further includes a plurality of openings penetrating through the main body to enable air convection.
