摘要： A system and method for steering control of a vehicle, preferably an agricultural tractor, is described. The system can be operated in a first control mode, which provides directly proportional steering control, or in an alternative control mode, where the output steering control signal is not directly proportional to the input. Examples of alternative control modes comprise pulse width control, pulse height control, a moving average filter control. The provision of different steering control modes allows for the selection of the control mode most suitable for the current steering operation and/or steering input device.
