摘要： The invention relates to a vertebral column implant (1) that comprises at least one bearing surface (10) for support on a vertebral body. The aim of the invention is to provide an implant which allows for the insertion of the implant into the body even through narrow passages. For this purpose, the shape or arrangement of the at least one bearing surface can be modified in such a manner that its cross-sectional area is larger in a position in which it rests against the vertebral body than in a position of insertion.

摘要： The invention relates to an intervertebral implant (1) comprising two carrier plates (4, 6) for arranging on adjacent vertebral bodies, with a convex, bulged, articulated surface (15) on one carrier plate, and a concave, bulged, articulated surface (14) on the other carrier plate, said articulated surfaces being flat against each other and thus supporting the carrier plates in a pivotable manner, and the highest or lowest point of the articulated surfaces being positioned between the rear edge (16) and the centre of the carrier plates. The aim of the invention is to achieve an introduction of force which is as homogeneous as possible from the carrier plates into the adjacent vertebral bodies. To this end, the convex articulated surface in the central region of the carrier plate extends on both sides of the central line of the carrier plate between the front edge (17) and the rear edge (16), approximately at the same distance, and projects further from the carrier plate on the end thereof facing the rear edge than on the end thereof facing the front edge.

摘要： A merchandise display security tether (20) includes a mounting base (30), a releasable adhesive (40) for releasably attaching the mounting base to an article of merchandise (M), and a housing (50) configured to be positioned over the mounting base and a releasing portion (42) of the releasable adhesive. The housing is secured to the mounting base by a tamper-proof fastener (70) to prevent access to the releasing portion of the releasable adhesive. The security tether further includes a security cable (80) having a first end (81) attached to the housing and a second end (83) for attachment to a merchandise display (B, DS). The housing is removable by a special tool (100) to expose the releasing portion of the releasable adhesive. The releasing portion is pulled to release the mounting base and the article of merchandise without damage to the merchandise and without leaving an adhesive residue on the merchandise.
