    • A winching and drawing machine comprises a drive shaft (1) for driving a load sheave (10), a pressure receiving member (2) fitted onto the drive shaft (1), brake plates (3) installed in contact with and on both side of the pressure receiving member (2) and fitted onto the drive shaft (1), a pawl wheel (4) interposed between the brake plates (3), a drive member (5) screwed on the drive shaft (1) so as to be pressed to and separated from the brake plates (3), an idler spring (6) installed between the drive shaft (1) and the drive member (5), and a lever (24). The machine is characterized in that a stopper (7) engaging with the drive shaft (1) is provided at an end face of the drive member (5) and an idler grip (8) is fixed on the outer face of the stopper (7). The winching and drawing machine has, in lever loosening prevention means at a drive shaft end portion of the machine, a function of adjusting the chain length, contains a reduced number of parts, and the machine is downsized, light-weighted and less expensive.

    • An overload prevention device of a hoist has a drive shaft (2) for driving a load sheave (1); a pressure receiving member (4) mounted relative to the drive shaft (2); a drive member (10) for transmitting drive force from operation means (14) to the drive shaft (2) via the pressure receiving member (4); a rotation/drive member (12) for transmitting the drive force from the operation means (14) to the drive member (10) and having means for releasing engagement between the operation member (14) and the drive member (10) when torque equal to or greater than a predetermined value is applied to the operation means (14); and an elastic member (13) installed along the axis of the drive member (10), between a back face of the rotation/drive member (12) and an inner end face of the operation means (14). The rotation drive member (12) can be urged without increasing the size of the device by using the elastic member (13) having a large stroke.
