    • The present invention relates to a pedal of a pedal exerciser including, for example, a bicycle, and more particularly to a pedal that is configured to enable a stable fit of a foot sole to a pedal body, while making it possible to concentrate foot effort for driving on the pedal. The pedal for a pedal exerciser according to the present invention comprises: a coupling axis coupled to a crank rod of the pedal exerciser; a pedal body rotatably coupled to the coupling axis; a pair of first slope adjustment plates installed at front and rear faces of the pedal body, wherein sides of the plates coupled to the crank rod are hinged to the pedal body, so that other sides opposite to those coupled to the crank rod can protrude toward the upper or lower end of the pedal body; a pair of second slope adjustment plates installed at the front and rear faces of the pedal body, wherein sides of the plates coupled to the crank rod are hinged to the pedal body together with the first slope adjustment plates, so that other sides opposite to those coupled to the crank rod can protrude toward the upper or lower end of the pedal body; and a pair of fixing screws passing through the first and second adjustment plates and being coupled to the pedal body to thereby fix the first and second adjustment plates. With the pedal of the pedal exerciser according to the present invention, a contact angle of the foot sole greater than zero degrees is set such that the power can be efficiently transferred to the sides of the plates coupled to the crank rod of the pedal body. Accordingly, it is possible to obtain greater drive power only with small force, while preventing the foot sole from deviating from the pedal body. Also, it is possible to freely adjust the contact angle of the foot sole within a certain range depending on the physique type of a user.

    • The present invention relates to a pedal for various pedal exercising equipment, including a bike, and more particularly, to a pedal that allows focusing of the pedal force for operation and stable footing of the sole of the foot on the pedal. The present invention comprises: an insertion axle (110) that is inserted into the crank rod of the pedal of the pedal exercise equipment; a pedal body (120) that is rotatably inserted into the insertion axle (110); tilt-controlling plates (300) installed in such a manner that one end of each of the plates are rotatably inserted into the upper front portion, upper back portion, lower front portion, and lower back portion of the pedal body respectively, using hinges (500) so that the other end of each of the plates can move in and out of the pedal body (120); and control bolts (400) that control the extent of the in and out movement of the tilt controlling plates (300). The pedal of the pedal exercising equipment of the present invention allows the angle of the footing to be set to more than 0°, so that the user can effectively step on the opposite side of the crank inserting-side of the pedal body, which produces a large driving force with little effort, prevents the sole of the foot from separating from the pedal body, and enables flexible control of the angle of footing within a certain range according to the user's body shape.
