    • A database is formed for providing two intelligent network services in connection with the same call, the database comprising data on the mutual compatibility of the different intelligent network services. In connection with each such call which involves at least one first intelligent network services (S1) and one second intelligent network service (S2), an exchange (EXC1) receives the data on the first intelligent network services (S1). If this data is sufficient for arming detection points, the exchange arms the detection points from which the first intelligent network services (S1) will be activated if the activation criteria are met during the call. The exchange also determines the data for arming a second detection point from which the second intelligent network service (S2) will be activated if the activation criteria are met during the call. The exchange (EXC1) examines the compatibility of the second intelligent network service (S2) with the first intelligent network services (S1) on the basis of the compatibility database and uses the result of the examination to route the call.

    • In a call set-up method a called mobile station (MS) is checked upon routing an incoming call to see if incoming calls are barred. In prior art call set-up an incoming call barring prevents the routing of all calls destined to the mobile station. The call set-up method of the present invention is characterised by bypassing the incoming call barring in the case of a priority call. The invention also relates to a mobile communications system comprising a first subscriber register (HLR) for permanent storage of subscriber data and a second subscriber register (VLR) for temporary storage of subscriber data. Incoming call barring is set in subscriber data. The mobile communications system of the invention is characterized by the system being arranged to bypass the incoming call barring in the case of a priority call.

    • The present invention proposes a method for transmitting data in a communication network, said communication network comprising at least one call control entity (CSCF) for controlling calls to be established from a subscriber (A, B) to a communication destination (B, A), a service control entity (SCP) for controlling services provisioned in said network for a respective subscriber, and a detection entity (DP) adapted to detect at least one of a plurality of predetermined conditions occurring in said network; said method comprising the steps of: forwarding a signaling message from said subscriber (A) to said at least one call control entity (CSCF) for being further forwarded to said destination (B), said signaling message comprising a message header and a message body, said message header including information descriptive for a content carried in the message body, detecting the occurrence of said at least one predetermined condition, and in case the occurrence of said predetermined condition has been detected, sending information concerning the content carried in the message body of said signaling message to said service control entity (SCP). Also, the present invention proposes a communication system comprising a call control entity (CSCF) controlling calls to be established from a subscriber (A, B) to a communication destination (B, A), a service control entity (SCP) controlling services provisioned in a network for a respective subscriber, wherein said system is adapted to operate according to the above method, and also a call control entity and a service control entity as such.

    • Conference call set-up is conventionally controlled with special keys # and * of a telephone set. Today these functions are performed by means of intelligent network technology. A problem with standard CS-1 and CS-2 intelligent network architectures is that they do not allow merging of call segments initiated by a Service Control Point (SCP).
