    • Cutting device for cutting a rubber component for a green belt. The cutting device comprises a roller conveyor for conveying the rubber component in a direction of conveyance. The roller conveyor comprises a number of conveyor rollers which are substantially parallel to and spaced apart from each other. The cutting device comprises a knife for cutting the rubber component at an angle with the direction of conveyance, wherein the cutting device is provided with a lifting beam that extends transverse to the direction of conveyance between two conveyor rollers. The lifting beam is vertically movable for lifting the rubber component. The knife is arranged so as to be displaceable along a guide rail with respect to the roller conveyor, wherein the angle that the knife forms with the direction of conveyance is adjustable in a range of approximately 18° to approximately 34°.

    • The present invention relates to a stitcher roll (15) for a tyre building apparatus, intended for use in the preparation of tyre blanks using an assembly drum designed to receive the various layers of the tyre. The stitcher roll cooperates with the assembly drum and comprises a plurality of identical disks which can move one towards the other as well as radially on one axle (1) relative to the assembly drum. Each disk has an inner part as well as an outer ring (5) rotating around it due to a ball-type bearing (4). The inner part presents a recess, with the side surfaces (6) of which it slides on the side surfaces (7) of the axle radially relative to the assembly drum, and the length of the recess is larger by a stroke length than the corresponding dimension of the axle, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the stitcher roll. The axle is provided with as many perforations as there are disks. The perforations are oriented radially relative to the assembly drum, and in each of them there is a pin (11) acting as a grip in the inner part of the disk concerned. The axle is provided with channels (12) intended to feed a pressure carrier to one perforation.
