摘要： A light-output device (1) comprising a carrier including electrical leads (2a-d); a light-source (3a-f) attached to the carrier in such a way that the light-source is electrically connected to at least two of the electrical leads comprised in the carrier; and a first thermo-responsive material (6) in thermal contact with the light-source (3a-f). The first thermo-responsive material (6) exhibits a transition from a first state to a second state different from the first state when the first thermo -responsive material is subjected to a temperature above a first activation temperature. By checking whether or not a transition from the first state to the second state has taken place, it can be determined whether or not the light-source has been operated in an overheating condition.

摘要： A lenticular lens based autostereoscopic display arrangement uses a display arrangement such as an emissive display arrangement or a reflective display arrangement. The interface between adjacent lenticular lenses (49) is interrupted by a light shielding arrangement (50), which extends at least from the lens surface at the interface into the lens structure, thereby providing a shield extending beneath the lens surface. 摘要： Light travels in a light - conducting element (210) by total internal reflection. An outcoupling surface (219) is adapted to emit light coupled out of the light - conducting element. According to the invention, the light guide comprises a dielectric polymer actuator (213-214), adapted to influence a local outcoupling coefficient of the outcoupling surface by deforming. The local outcoupling coefficient may be changed by two optical elements being brought into contact or by deforming a single actuator into a different shape. Embodiments of the invention include modular lighting systems, visual displays, display backlights, optical switches and adjustable light guides.
