摘要： The present invention discloses a security system for monitoring one or more security zones at a security site. The security system captures optical images in the security zones and transmits the images to a monitoring station for display to a human operator for analysis. In one aspect, the security system includes a plurality of imagers (52), a collector (14), and a monitoring station (40). Each imager (52) is positioned so as to sense an optical image in one or more of the security zones. Each imager (52) stores an image and provides electrical signals representing the image. The collector (14) is positioned at the security site. The collector (14) receives the electrical signals from each of the imagers (52) and transfers the electrical signals to the monitoring station (40).

摘要： The present invention discloses a security system (50) for monitoring a mobile, ground-based platform (52) via image acquisition in the form of electrical pixel signals. In one embodiment (50), the system includes a plurality of cameras (61) attached to the platform (52) and arranged to capture images of zones (63) associated with the interior of the platform (52) or with its exterior and current ambient environmental surroundings. Storage media (101) is located on the platform for storing images captured in the form of electrical signals by the cameras (61). The system (50) is configured for transferring images to the storage media (101) and to at least one remote location (69) wherein the images are viewable at the remote location (69). The system (50) may advantageously employ wireless transmission to transfer images to a remote location (69). The images may be captured responsive to an input such as from a panic button (73).

摘要： The present invention discloses a security system for monitoring an Automated Teller Machine (ATM). The system includes a plurality of cameras at the ATM arranged to capture at least one image of a person initiating a transaction on the ATM. Storage media is located at the ATM for digitally storing images captured by the cameras. The system is configured for digitally transferring images to the storage media and to at least one remote location wherein the images are viewable at the remote location. In one aspect, the system provides for random access to and searching of the image data stored at the ATM. In another aspect, the information is stored at the ATM in a way which provides for increased searching efficiency. In still another aspect, the system may include a security section having cameras which capture images or provide indications responsive to one or more events other than the initiation of transactions.
