摘要： Systems and methods for monitoring the location of a patient using an integrated belt and sensor for alarm for patient furniture. The belt may include at least one strap and a slider configured to be releasably attached to one another and an audible reminder system that is triggered when the slider is disengaged from the other strap or straps. By doing so, the amount of time it takes to remove the belt can be increased, which provides medical personnel additional time to reach a patient. Additionally, the system may include additional components to allow a patient to move side-to-side relative to the furniture or device. For instance, where the furniture is a bed, side-to-side movement is desired for added comfort. The system may include a slider enabling the belt to be adjustable for patients of any number of different sizes.

The belt may include a plurality of straps configured to be releasably attached to one another and an alarm system that is triggered when at least one of the straps is disengaged from the other strap or straps. 摘要： A dental curing light sleeve with a closed distal end, an open proximal end, and an elongated tubular structure with at least three different sections of varying circumferences is disclosed. The sleeve may be created by heat sealing at least two sheets of an impermeable, polymeric material. Three sheets of impermeable polymeric material may be used to create the sleeve, with the two outer sheets being substantially the same length and dimensions and the third sheet of a shorter length placed between the two outer sheets. This provides the sleeve with added strength along the majority of the. sleeve while still having minimal obstruction of the curing light, which may occur when additional sheets of material are included. Additionally, the sleeve may have a ring, section located at the open proximal' end, which allows a user to grip the sleeve and apply it to the dental curing light.

摘要： Systems and methods for using a sterile drape with a surgical table are described. The system includes a sterile drape and at least one securement device that secure the sterile drape to the surgical table. The securement device may be an adhesive sticker having a perforation. Because of the perforation, the sticker is prone to break under small levels of force exerted on the sticker. In this way, a user can visually determine whether potential breaches of sterility have occurred when the sticker has broken. Additionally, the system may include magnets, weights, poly-ties, rubber bands, hooks, clips, buckles, adhesive tabs, straps, tape, and the like to secure the sterile drape to the surgical table. In this way, the surgical table can be prepared, the sterile drape can be installed, and the drape can be secured to the table to prevent breaches of sterility.

By integrating a hinge into elements of the frame and/or the lens, the eye shield can he manufactured and assembled more quickly and with less costs. In an embodiment, a lens may click (or snap) onto molded posts of a frame in a substantially flat position. An integrated living hinge in the frame may bend to allow the lens to flip downwards toward the frame to a second position for use. The posts may also click (or snap) into place in an underside of the frames. In another embodiment, a lens may click (or snap) onto molded posts of a frame in a substantially flat position. An integrated living hinge, formed by notches in the !ens, may allow the lens to bend to flip downwards to the frame to a second position for use. A dispenser allows storing the eye shields in the flat position and dispensing in the second position for use.
