    • Disclosed in this invention is a method of manufacturing poly-V-grooved pulleys readily made of sheet metal, in which said pulley is manufactured through such steps that: a slotting roller (2) is pressed to the outer periphery of a disk-like metallic material (1) for applying slotting to said material (1) in the direction of the thickness thereof so that circumferential walls (7) different from each other in facing direction for providing a poly-V-groove and other peripheral wall (8) onto which the other member fits may be formed; shaping rolls (10, 12) are pressed to the outer peripheral surface of said poly-V-grooved walls (7) for formation of poly-V-groove (11B) with rolling shaping and providing a poly-V-grooved pulley made of sheet metal; whereby, despite the use of only single pulley, applications adaptable to engagement with a plurality of V belts is made available and, with a poly-V-grooved pulley fitted on the peripheral wall (8) for fixation of other members through a cushion rubber to that direct transmission of vibration of a rotating axis to the fitted poly-V-grooved pulley may be prevented.
