The process comprises the steps of : (i) heating bitumen; (ii) heating aggregate; and (iii) mixing the hot bitumen with the hot aggregate in a mixing unit to form asphalt. From 10 to 200 wt% of sulphur, based upon the weight of the bitumen, is added in at least one of the steps (i), (ii) or (iii) and from 0.1 to 20 wt% of a compound of formula A, based upon the weight of the bitumen, is added in at least one of the steps (i), (ii) or (iii). R 1 and R 2 are independently chosen from C6-C30 alkyl or alkenyl.

摘要： A method of making a sulfur-extended asphalt mixture with a minimum of hydrogen sulfide gas release into the atmosphere by using sulfur granules with specific physical properties and which are made by successively coating a starting sulfur seed particle with liquid sulfur that is solidified between coatings to thereby build up the a sulfur particle of a desired size. The sulfur granules are used to in the preparation of a sulfur, bitumen and aggregate mixture to provide the sulfur-extended asphalt.

摘要： A fuel leak prevention system and method for providing same includes a check valve for insertion into the discharge end of a spout assembly of a fuel dispensing nozzle, the check valve being located downstream of the nozzle's fuel control valve so as to prevent any leaking or dripping of fuel from the spout when the nozzle is deactivated. The check valve comprises a pivoting flap that is preferably spring-loaded and predisposed to remain closed to seal the spout when there is no fuel flowing through the nozzle, but which is allowed to rotate within the spout to open the nozzle and allow the flow of fuel when the nozzle is activated. In one embodiment, the check valve can be inserted into the spout during fabrication of the nozzle. An alternate embodiment allows the retrofit of an existing nozzle by adding an extension that contains the check valve to the spout on the nozzle. The system and method disclosed has application to any liquids that are to be dispensed, including petrol, diesel, kerosene, gas oil, gas, liquid petroleum gas, av-gas, chemicals, and water.

摘要： A solution for the Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal problem for Real Time Protocol (RTP) is provided, which uses an RTP Proxy (e.g., a Session Border Controller (SBC)), instead of being logically located between the NAT and the Feature Server (FS), but instead, for devices which use a protocol unsupported by the SBC, having these devices first signal the Feature Server, which determines whether and how an RTP proxy should be invoked. An RTP proxy should be invoked by the FS if Both endpoints (e.g., devices) are behind different NATs (or one of the endpoints is behind a NAT and the other is not) and neither of the endpoints are already signaled through an RTP proxy. For example, the SBC is interposed (at least logically) between the Feature Server and other shared components.
