A femto node is treated as a trusted extension of a user equipment and performs processing tasks on behalf of the user equipment. 摘要： In general, techniques are described for encapsulating three dimensional video data in accordance with a transport protocol. As one example, an apparatus comprising a multimedia processing module, a transport protocol module and a wireless module implement the techniques. The multimedia processing module generates a video data segment, an audio data segment and a depth data segment of 3D video content. The transport protocol module encapsulates each of the video data, audio data and depth data segments in different ones of a plurality of packets according to a transport protocol and adds metadata to at least one of the plurality of packets for enhancing playback of the 3D video content. The wireless module transmits the packets to a 3D display device external from the apparatus.

The first cell may provide reporting configuration instructions to a second cell, instructing selection between at least two defined configurations for reporting system information or load information from the second cell, based on whether the first cell is in a powered up state or a powered down state. The first cell may transmit notifications to the second cell indicating when the first cell is transitioning to a current power state, which may be one of the powered up state or the powered down state. The first cell may select one of the at least two configurations for interpreting reporting data received from the second cell, based its current power state, to obtain the system information or the load information from the second cell.

摘要： Low-power transmitter and/or receiver devices are provided by sacrificing time and/or frequency diversity in exchange for lower power consumption. When channel conditions indicate that time and/or frequency spreading are unnecessary for transmissions, a transmitter may enter into a power-conservation mode in which transmissions are performed using a time gating scheme or a time repetition scheme. In the time gating scheme, symbols are transmitting just once, rather than a plurality of times, but with increased transmission power. In the time repetition scheme, copies of the same symbol are transmitted a plurality of times on the same frequency on different symbol transmission periods, instead of being retransmitted on different frequencies on different symbol transmission periods. Consequently, the symbol can be generated once and stored for subsequent retransmission, thereby allowing some of the transmitter/receiver chain components can be operated at a lower duty cycle or processing speed to conserve power.

摘要： A power conservation method and system are provided for conserving power in client terminals by using a partitioned proxy server. The client terminal, having low- power and high-power communication interfaces, may power down its high-power communication interface to conserve power. Prior to shutting off its high-power communication interface, the client terminal may assign a partitioned proxy server to act as its proxy. The partitioned proxy server may include remote and local paging proxies which communicate with each other over an IP network. The remote paging proxy receives paging requests from an access point or the communication network and forwards it to the local paging proxy. The local paging proxy then forwards the paging message to the client terminal via a low-power communication interface. Upon receipt of the paging message via its low-power communication interface, the client terminal may power up its high-power communication interface and directly respond to the paging message.
