摘要： Embodiments include a fiducial deployment system with a handle configured for actuation of same. A fiducial (400) may include one or more protuberances configured to engage one or more slots in a needle (1614) of the system. The needle may be configured to deliver a plurality of fiducials to a target location in serial fashion, one at a time. In certain embodiments, echogenic placement of fiducials may present certain advantages. The handle may include structures (1676) configured for incrementally or otherwise controlledly deploying one or more fiducials by advancing a stylet through and/or retracting the body of a needle in which fiducials are disposed.

摘要： The present embodiments provide systems and methods suitable for delivering a therapeutic agent to a target site. The systems generally comprise a container (30) for holding a therapeutic agent (38), and a pressure source (68) configured to be placed in selective fluid communication with at least a portion of a reservoir of the container. In one embodiment, fluid from the pressure source is directed through a first region of the container in a direction towards a second region of the container. The fluid then is at least partially redirected to urge the therapeutic agent in a direction from the second region of the container towards the first region of the container and subsequently towards the target site. In alternative embodiments, the fluid from the pressure source may be directed through the second region of the container in a direction towards the first region of the container.

摘要： A deployment device to deploy a prosthesis for interconnecting vessel portions of a body vessel is described herein. The device includes a support frame and an actuation member coupled to the support frame. The actuation member is movable between a first and a second position. A retaining member is movable between a closed and a open position. In the closed position, the retaining member forms a chamber to retain a length of a prosthesis in a compressed configuration. In the open position, the retaining member is positioned to allow the prosthesis to move to an expanded configuration. Movement of the actuation member to the second position causes movement of the retaining member to the open position. One or more retractable cuffs can be positioned over the ends of the prosthesis for selectively retaining the corresponding prosthesis ends in the compressed configuration.

摘要： In a keyboard (51) for a computer, at least a majority of the keys of an alphabetic key region (52) of substantially conventional key layout are laid out along at least one axis of curvature directed towards the user in use of the keyboard. A multiplicity of function keys (61) are provided preferably to the left-hand side of the alphabetic key region (52), to cooperate with mode selection keys (62) so that each function key may fulfill a number of different purposes depending on which mode selection key is also depressed. The keyboard may also comprise a numeric keypad (54) to the right of the alphabetic key region (52), along with cursor control keys (57).
