摘要： The present invention relates to a gear box for a cutting machine, in which an idle gear mounted between a driving shaft and a driven shaft and an idle gear mounted between the driven shaft and a cutter shaft are installed at an idle frame connected with the driving shaft and the driven shaft, respectively. The idle frame is operated to pressurize by means of a compression spring, thereby preventing the generation of a gap between gear teeth even if the gear teeth are abraded by long-term use. Additionally, even when teeth of a gear are abraded and thus are loosen slightly, idle gears are stably tooth-engaged between a gear of a driving shaft and a gear of a driven shaft and between the gear of the driven shaft and a gear of a cutter shaft, thereby preventing backlash and thus stably protecting a cutter mounted therein with an ultra-light tip that has strong solidity, but has brittleness.
