    • A portable grill for firing with preferably solid fuel, e.g. charcoal or the like. The grill comprises a furnace, defined by a rectangular bottom wall (1), two end walls (2, 3) and two side walls (4, 5), and support means for a grill grating or the like are arranged above the furnace. Previously known grills of this kind are usually rigid and require large storage space. In some cases it is possible to dismantle at least parts of the grill, but this requires a lot of work. The object of the invention is to remove these disadvantages and provide a grill requiring very small storage space and being simple to get ready for use. According to the invention this is achieved in that the bottom wall (1) of the furnace is pivotally connected to each end wall (2, 3) by at least two pivot means (11) for pivotal movement around a line that is parallel to and situated adjacent to the edge of the bottom wall (1) facing the end wall (2, 31, and in that each side wall (4, 5) is pivotally connected to each end wall (2, 3) by a pivot means (11), which permits turning movement both around a line connecting the pivot means (11) at both ends of the side wall (4, 5) and around a line that is parallel to and situated adjacent to the edge of the side wall (4, 5) facing the end wall (2, 3), so that the grill, after turning of the side walls (4, 5) to positions where they are parallel to the bottom wall (1), is collapsible to a substantially flat condition.
