摘要： An apparatus and method for embedding and extracting a capturing-resistant audio watermark based on discrete wavelet transform, and a copyright management system using the same are provided. The apparatus for embedding a wavelet based audio watermark includes: a framing unit for dividing an input audio signal into small signals with a regular length; a discrete wavelet transform unit for calculating an mean value of wavelet coefficients by transforming the small signals based on a discrete wavelet transform; and an embedding unit for changing the calculated mean value according to a watermark where a synchronization signal is inserted and inserting the watermark into the audio signal.

摘要： A system for providing digital contents by using digital fingerprinting includes a contents generation server (140) for generating the digital contents; a clearing house (130) for issuing license of the contents to the client (100) and generating fingerprint information from informatin related to contents purchase information; a fingerprint management server (120) for generating fingerprint code based on the fingerprint information; and a contents distribution server (110) for delivering the contents to the client after inserting the fingerprint code into the contents in watermark form. By generating fingerprint code from information such as copyright holder of the contents, contents provider, etc. and insering the fingerprint code into the contents in watermark form, an illegal distributor can be traced with the fingerprint watermark, although digital contents provided to the client may be illegally copied and re-distributed. Digital content is not encrypted in order for purchaser to replay it on other media devices.

摘要： A hybrid watermark insertion method includes the steps of dividing the digital image into a low frequency region and a high frequency region using an edge map of the digital image; inserting a watermark into the low frequency region of the image by employing a watermarking method using a human visual system (HVS); and inserting the watermark into the high frequency region of the image by employing a quantization index modulation (QIM) method. A hybrid watermark extraction method includes the steps of estimating a reference value used when inserting a watermark, and searching a maximum value of correlation coefficients in an image of the watermark image while changing the estimated reference value within a designated range, to thereby find out the watermark insertion method. Accordingly, the watermark insertion method can be easily identified, thereby enabling the watermark extraction in a more readily manner.

摘要： An apparatus and method for inserting/extracting a nonblind watermark using features of digital media data are provided. The apparatus and method inserts a watermark adaptively using watermark-related information determined by analyzing the characteristics of digital media data, also extracts features of the digital media data, automatically searches original media data corresponding to the features, and simultaneously and efficiently extracts a watermark using watermark-related information. Therefore, When the watermark is extracted, the original media data can be searched automatically.
