摘要： The present invention provides a storage system for a component, such as a power tool, a power tool module, a power control module, hand tools and parts and accessories for the aforesaid. The storage system includes a receptacle including a base and a closure connected to the base, the base and the closure defining an internal space for receiving one or more components, the closure being operable for selectively enclosing the internal space, and a connection means for releasably connecting the base with at least one component that is positioned within the internal space of the receptacle, the connection means including a first connection portion associated with the base for connecting with a second connection portion of the component. The present invention also provides a package for containing a product, such as one or more of the aforesaid products, including a product interfacing device including an interface surface defining a recess that is shaped to conform with an exterior surface of the product and thereby restrict movement of the product relative to the product interfacing device, a removable cover coupled to the interfacing device for enclosing the product when the cover is coupled to the interfacing device and for enabling access to the product when removed from the interface member, wherein the product interfacing device includes a connection means for releasably connecting the product interfacing device within the internal space of a receptacle.

摘要： A capacitor-based (supercapacitor, ultracapictor or psudeocapcitor) electrical charger (10), rechargeable device (22) and energy storage pack for use with a rechargeable power tool. The rechargeable device (22) includes a storage capacitor (30). The electrical charger includes a supply capacitor (42) electrically connected to an electrical contact (46), the supply capacitor being charged when the electrical charger is connected to a power source (40). While in use, any charge in the supply capacitor (42) is rapidly distributed between the supply capacitor (42) and the storage capacitor (30) when the rechargeable device is mounted in the receiver (16) of the electrical charger. The electrical charger includes a safety interlock switch (50) which only supplies power to the electrical contact (46) of the charger after electrical terminal of the rechargeable device have engaged the electrical contact (46).

摘要： The present invention provides an assembly for providing electrical power to an electrical device. The assembly includes a receptacle including an electrical connector for connection to a power supply, a length of an electrical cable that is contained within the receptacle and that is coupled to the electrical connector, wherein the length of electrical cable is retractably extendable from within the receptacle. 摘要： The present invention provides a connection arrangement for releasably connecting a device receptacle and a support for attachment to a surface. The connection arrangement includes a first connection interface associated with the support including a pair of spaced apart supporting surfaces and a second connection interface associated with the device receptacle including a pair of spaced apart support surface engaging surfaces. A first one of the support surface engaging surfaces is removably engageable with a first one of the supporting surfaces to thereby support at least part of the weight of the device receptacle thereon and the second one of the support surface engaging surfaces is removably engageable with the second one of the supporting surfaces to positively retain the first and second connection interfaces together. The present invention also provides a storage system for storing devices adjacent a surface including a support for attachment to the surface, at least one device receptacle for receiving a device, wherein the device receptacle is releasably connectable to the support. Preferred forms of the invention include device receptacles for containing hand held power tools, hand tools and parts and accessories therefor.

The power tool includes a tool body and a rotatable driven member extending forward from the tool body for gripping and rotating a working element about an axis of rotation. The power tool also includes a cover surrounding the driven member having opposite rearward and forward ends with the rearward end being directly connected to the tool body so that the cover does not to rotate with the driven member. The cover includes at least one accessory attachment facility configured to facilitate releasable attachment of an accessory to the cover between the rearward and forward ends along the direction of the axis of rotation of the driven member. The power tool accessory includes at least one power tool attachment facility configured to facilitate releasable attachment of the accessory to the cover between the rearward and forward ends along the direction of the axis of rotation of the driven member. The power tool and accessory system includes a power tool and an accessory. The power tool has a tool body, a rotatable driven member extending forward from the tool body for gripping and rotating a working element about an axis of rotation, a cover surrounding the driven member having opposite rearward and forward ends with the rearward end being directly connected to the tool body so that the cover does not to rotate with the driven member, the cover being configured to facilitate releasable attachment of the accessory to the cover between the rearward and forward ends along the direction of the axis of rotation of the driven member.
