摘要： A fruit peeler has a casing (1), the surface (18) of which has an aperture (16) for a peeling blade (15), the cutting edge (17) of which projects above the top (18) of the casing cover (4). The peeling blade (15) is secured to a pivoting arm (13) which passes through an aperture (14) in the casing (1) and is connected to an electric drive system (8) fitted in a housing (5) secured to the side of the casing (1). The position of the electric drive system (8) ion the housing (5) and hence the degree by which the cutting edge (17) projects above the surface (18) of the casing cover (4) can be adjusted by a worm drive (11) and a knurled nut (12). A piece of fruit diagrammatically represented by a circle (19) and guided along the surface (18) of the cover (4) is peeled by the pivoting movement of the blade (15).
