    • The invention relates to a method of producing flat plastic coatings, preferably skinlike surface coverings, made of pastelike, powdery or granular base material (1). The invention is characterized in that the heating process is highly efficient, involves low energy loss over short reaction times in relation to temperature adjustments and is achieved by simple means of design. The method begins with the provision of an electrically conductive reaction vessel (2). The base material (1) is subsequently introduced into the reaction vessel (2) and the reaction vessel (2) is heated inductively before and/or during introduction of the material into the vessel. In the next step of the method the base material (1) is made to react in order to form a plastic layer. Finally, the plastic coating and/or the reaction vessel (2) is cooled down and the plastic coating is removed from the reaction vessel (2). The invention also relates to an appropriate device for producing plastic coatings, preferably skinlike surface coverings, made of pastelike, powdery or granular base material (1), comprising a reaction vessel (2) and a heating device (3). The device is characterized by the fact that an induction heating device (3) is associated to the reaction vessel (2) for direct heating.

    • Method to remove paint from covering and/or elements (1) in a paint installation, preferably from hooks. With a view to achieving inexpensive and environmentally friendly paint stripping of covering and/or support elements (1) and no need for repair of damaged elements said method is characterized by initial selection (3) of covering and/or support elements (1) that are to be stripped of paint.
